Badge and Pass Office Reduced Operations

Susan Mcclain requested that the following NASA LaRC bulletin be shared with LaRC Contractors Steering Council members.

Effective July 29, 2020, the NASA Langley Badge and Pass Office (BPO) is open with reduced operations in support of mission essential functions.

Priority is currently placed in processing new credentials and renewals for approved Return to On-Site Work projects and PIV renewals. New credentials for contractors involved in approved projects should be requested via the normal IdMAX process and validated by the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) prior to issuance. PIV renewals will continue to be processed virtually, if possible, and appointments can be scheduled at https://badgeandpass.larc.nasa.gov.

Routine renewals of center-specific badges (Carpool, CDC, LEA, Alumni Association, etc.) will not be processed at this time.

If you anticipate the need for BPO services, please send an email to larc-bpo@mail.nasa.gov so we can plan for your visit and provide your services promptly.

Should you require immediate assistance to maintain logical access while teleworking, please contact the EOC at 757-864-9315 or LaRC-EOC@mail.nasa.gov for guidance. We will continually monitor mission requirements and adjust available resources to support mission needs as safely as possible.

Thank you for your understanding during these challenging times. Please stay safe!
