RSES Draft RFP Released on SAM.GOV

Tim Canella, Deputy Director of NASA LaRC’s Office of Procurement, requested that the following information be shared with LaRC Contractors Steering Council members.

The Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Research, Science, and Engineering Services (RSES) procurement was posted on December 16, 2021 on SAM.GOV.

Acquisition Strategy for NASA LaRC Research, Science, and Engineering Services

The Draft RSES PWS is published for review and comment. Additional information will be provided shortly after the new year, including draft labor categories and draft labor estimates. A draft RFP release is anticipated in late January or early February 2022, with final RFP release approximately 60 days following Draft RFP release. 

New Video for Hall of Honor Nominations

Kathy Ferrare requested that the following information be shared with LaRC Contractors Steering Council members.

Take Five: Nominations Open for the NACA and NASA Langley Hall of Honor Class of 2022

We are still on schedule to close-out the nomination process for the Class of 2022 Hall of Honor nominations– the submission deadline is Friday, January 14, 2022. Qualifications for nominees include personnel, both civil service and contractors, who had distinguished careers with NACA Langley Memorial Aeronautical Laboratory and/or NASA Langley Research Center.

The electronic nomination form is available at the Langley Alumni Association website.

NASA Implementation of Nationwide Injunction of Executive Order 14042

Susan McClain, Director of NASA LaRC’s Office of Procurement, requested that the following information be shared with LaRC Contractors Steering Council members.

A Global Contractor Memorandum, “Update on NASA Implementation of Executive Order 14042 on Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors – Nationwide Injunction Issued by the District Court of the Southern District of Georgia,” from NASA’s Assistant Administrator for Procurement, Karla Jackson, has been released by NASA Headquarters.  We will keep you updated as we receive additional guidance and other information.  If you have specific questions about your contract, please reach out to your Contracting Officer.
